Congratulations on your purchase. Please read the following instructions carefully before using this
measuring instrument. Should you have any questions or remarks, do not hesitate to contact us.
INTRODUCTION
When opening the packaging, a small crystallisation may be visible on the electrode of the pH meter.
This is normal. Please clean with demineralised water before first use.
The paraffin around the device serves to prevent leakage of the storage solution. Please remove the
paraffin with warm water prior to first use.
Inserting batteries
1. Prior to use, unscrew the lid of the battery compartment.
2. Insert new batteries with correct polarity (- and +).
Keys
• MEAS/HOLD functions:
1. Switch the meter ON/OFF.
2. When pressed during measurement: records the pH value.
3. When pressed during calibration: exits calibration mode.
• ENTER/°C functions:
1. When pressed during calibration: confirms the value.
2. When pressed during measurement: reads the temperature.
• CAL function:
1. Press to activate the calibration mode.
2. Press to select a calibration point during calibration mode.
Before you start:
- Immerse the probe in a storage solution or tapped water for at least 30
minutes (no distilled or demineralised water.
- Then rinse with distilled or demineralised water.
