IMPORTANT !!!
SWITCH THE MACHINE OFF BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH THE ADJUSTMENTS :

Bobbin Base Retainer

1. Push the machine forward to expose the underside of the machine.
2. Depending on the style of base retainer it should be similar to FIG 1

But may have the retaining screw the opposite side to that in the fig.

3. To replace undo the screw holding the retainer and pull the retainer away from the machine.
4. When replacing it ensure you connect the bobbin base retaining finger in the slot of the bobbin base.

The retainer may be in a slightly different location to the one shown here but the slot in the
bobbin base will be exactly the same and the retainer will look very similar to the one shown
below.
