Replacing the battery

Operating Method

Confirm that the power has been turned off.

•

Power off is confirmed by a blank screen that does not display anything and a status lamp

that does not turn on or flash when a key is pressed, other than

•

If the power is on, press

to turn the power off.

Remove the AC adapter or USB cable.

Slide and remove the battery cover.

•

Push the mark in the center to unlock and open. Slide and remove the cover.

The battery is a consumable product. The life of the battery has ended when the
battery no longer holds a charge. Replace the old with a new battery.

The time returns to the factory settings when the battery is replaced. The time needs
to be reset according to "Configuring the time and date" on page 72.

Ensure that the AC adapter and USB cable have been removed when replacing
the battery. This may result in device failure.
