3.2.11 Switches & LEDs Circuit
Fig. 3.2-12 shows the switches & LEDs circuit which manages the ON/OFF switch and its
two LEDs, and FEED/CUT switch.
Pressing the FEED/CUT switch turns the CPU's INT2 Low, signaling that the FEED/CUT
switch is pressed. Then the CPU activates the tape feeding and cutting mechanisms.
The two LEDs show the machine status by illuminating or flashing. For the relationship
between the LED states and machine status, refer to Chapter II, Section 2.2.2, [ 10 ].

3.2.12 Cover Open Sensor Circuit
Fig. 3.2-13 shows the cover open sensor circuit which detects whether the cassette
cover is opened or closed.
When the cassette cover is closed, the sensor input level is Low; when it is opened, it
goes High.
If the sensor input level is High, the CPU disables all drive sources.
