My scanner cannot
connect to any access
point.
The settings for the access point have
not been done.
1. Connect your computer to your scanner via
Wi-Fi
®
.
2. Launch your computer’s web browser.
3. Type
http://10.10.100.1
in the address bar.
4. Click
Setting
>
Brother Online Setting
.
5. Configure the settings for the access point.
The settings for the access point have
been done but the scanner cannot con-
nect to any access point.
Do one of the following:
• Confirm that your access point is turned on.
• Turn your access point off, then turn it on.
• Place the scanner in a service area.
• Set a new correct SSID and password.
• Confirm that the IP address of your access point
is set. If not, activate the DHCP function of your
access point.
• When MAC address filtering is used for your ac-
cess point, register the MAC address of the
scanner.
• Set the Wi-Fi
®
switch to
OFF
, then set it to
ON
.
• Press and hold the
Power
button to turn off the
scanner, and press the
Power
button to turn on
it.
