Replace Parts
Laser Unit
It is time to replace the laser
unit. Call Brother customer service or a Brother
Authorized Service Center to replace the laser
unit.

feeding kit. Call Brother customer service or a Brother
Authorized Service Center to replace the
PF Kit.
Replace Toner
The toner cartridge is at the
end of its life. The machine will
stop all print operations. Replace the toner cartridge.

Scan Unable XX
The machine has a mechanical
problem.  Turn the power switch off, and then turn it
on again.
 If the problem continues, call Brother
customer service for support.
Document is too long for
duplex scanning. Press Stop/Exit . Use the suitable size of paper
for duplex scanning.

Size Error
You can not use the paper size
defined in the printer driver in
this tray. Choose a paper size which is supported by the
tray shown on the LCD.

The paper size defined in the
printer driver and the control
panel menu is not available for
automatic duplex printing. Press Stop/Exit . Choose a paper size which is
supported by the duplex tray.

duplex printing is A4.

on the USB Flash memory
drive. Reduce the number of files stored on the USB
Flash memory drive.
