Chapter 8  Standard Adjustment

• The thread trimmer connecting rod B

has a backlash of about 0.1 ~ 0.2 mm back
and forth.  Tighten the two bolts

 while

pulling them forward by the backlash
amount.

• Tighten the two bolts 

e

 so that the thread

trimmer connecting rods B

 and C 

w

are positioned in a straight line.

5.

After adjustment is finished, reset the
emergency stop button.
"Emergency Stopping" disappears.

6.

Turn the power switch off once, then on
again.  Check that the clearance between
the movable knife

 and the fixed knife

is 1 mm.

When adjusting again, follow the step 2 and
