1. The upper paper cassette
Since the paper cassette is a universal type, you can use any of the sizes
of paper in the list. The cassette can hold up to 500 sheets of paper (80
g/m
2
or 20 lbs.) or up to 40 envelopes (Paper should only be loaded up to
the arrow head marked on the sliding guide).
2. The multi-purpose tray
The multi-purpose tray is the most useful feeder for you to handle many
types of paper. The multi-purpose tray can hold up to 150 sheets of paper
(80 g/m
2
or 20 lbs.) or up to 15 envelopes.
The paper types and sizes that can be fed from the multi-purpose tray are
as follows:
• Plain paper from 90 mm x 148 mm (3.5” x 5.8”) to 216 mm x 356
mm (8.5” x 14”) [Weight = 60 to 135 g/m
2
(16 to 36 lbs)]
• Overhead projector (OHP) films
• Colored paper
• Postcards
• Label stock
• Envelopes of COM10, Monarch, C5, DL, or ISO B5 size
3. The optional lower paper cassette
The cassette can hold up to 500 sheets of paper (80 g/m
2
or 20 lbs.). It has
a limitation on the paper sizes that can be used as shown in the list.
4. The duplex unit
The duplex unit can handle letter, legal, A4, Executive and ISO B5
(except Tray 2) size papers from the feeders.
