The product should be installed by suitably trained personnel, in accordance with the applicable code of
prac
ti ce/ installa ti on standards for hazardous areas.
The fl owmeters shall be permanently grounded by means of the process connec ti ons in order to allow
discharge of electrosta ti c charges via the connec ti on to ground.
The actual maximum surface temperature of the equipment depends not on the equipment itself, but on
opera
ti ng condi ti ons of the process fl uid/gas fl owing through the equipment. The equipment by itself does
not generate heat. Due to this reason the temperature class is marked as a range. The maximum permi tt ed
ambient and process temperature limits can be found in the opera ti ng instruc ti ons.
Supply grounding connec ti on by the process connec ti ons or earthing terminal.
Enclosure contains polycarbonate parts. If it is mounted in an area where the use of category 2G or 2D
apparatus is required, it must be installed such that igni
ti on source due to propaga ti ng brush discharge
