1.2. Transport Instructions
• The MBL Lithium battery may not be carried by hand as carry-on
luggage or in the cargo hold of passenger aircraft.
• The battery is declared dangerous goods of UN Class 9 (UN3480).
Shipping via transport companies must be in their original packa-
ging. Commercial transport is only allowed in original packaging. If
transport is arranged without the original packaging, please ensure
a suitable enclosure and that the outer packaging be marked with
the relevant transportation warnings regarding Class 9 dangerous
goods (UN 3480).
• Never lift or transport the battery by the terminals or the connected
cable, always by the carrying handle provided.
1.3 Disposal
The MBL Lithium battery is a high quality battery made with LiFePO
4
cells
that can be expected to have a useful life in excess of 4000 cycles. Even at
the end of their useful life these batteries and their component cells will retain
significant value for repurposing in other applications or recycling of their ma-
terials. You must not dispose of this product in household or industrial waste,
lithium batteries must be returned to recognized recycling centers in accordan-
ce with the legal requirements of your region.

1.4 Labeling of legally required information
The serial number and the product identification can be found as stickers
on the underside of the battery. Do not remove the sticker as it is necessary
registration, warranty claims, and recycling.
