1. Introduction

1.1. Scope

This document describes the procedures required for installation of a basic
BroadAccess CAG40D-MIN in a 19” rack.

Note:

The instructions in this manual are also relevant for the
CAGE40-MIN cage.

Note:

If installing the CAG40D-MIN with the MPU-x, you should also refer
to the

MPU-x Unit Installation Guide

.

The document includes the following sections:

Section 1 - Introduction: provides document and system overview.

Section 2 - Site Preparation: explains how to prepare the site prior to
installation.

•

Section 3 - Installation: explains how to install a CAG40D-MIN in a 19” rack
and basic rack configuration.

1.2. Compatibility

The CAG40D-MIN is compatible for use as a Remote Unit (RU) with
BroadAccess systems.
