Once the parent unit is beyond the communication range of baby unit for over 2 minutes, an
out-of-range alarm will be heard together with the LED level meter starts flashing to alert
the parents. The alarm will go off only when the parent unit falls back within the communication
range of baby unit.
N.B.
This alarm will also be heard in case the baby unit is switched off, or its battery has run
down, or its power is cut off, or pairing process is not successful.
The condition of the battery (or rechargeable battery pack) is shown by the power on/battery
low indicator . When the battery runs down, the indicator starts flashing and an alarm
will be heard, reminding the parents to replace the battery (or charge up the battery pack using
the rapid charger).
The temperature of baby’s room is shown on the Temperature indicator . It can show a
reading from -9°C to +50°C. For temperature falls beyond this range, the indicator will show .
N.B.
If the parent unit is switched on first, the temperature indicator will immediately show
the baby’s room temperature once the baby unit is switched on. On the contrary, if baby unit
is switched on first, it will take a while before the temperature can be displayed on parent unit.

Press and hold the PTT button , then speak towards the microphone . The Tx indicator
will light up.
The parent’s voice can be heard from speaker and the Rx indicator lights up
correspondingly.
Press and hold the volume button while using the buttons & to adjust the
volume of speaker . Each press of the button or will cause the Rx indicator to
flash one to four times and corresponding number of beeps will be heard. More beeps mean
louder voice.
Release the PTT button after finish speaking. Note that when PTT button is pressed,
the parents cannot hear the sound from baby.
For units incorporated with this function, the parent can talk back as a means of comforting the baby.

Use only the supplied switching power supply, use of other adapters may cause damage to
the baby monitor.
When not using the monitor for long period of time, remove all batteries from the units to avoid
damage due to battery leakage.
Disconnect the AC switching power supply from the wall outlet when the monitor is not to be
operated.
The BC-50 baby monitor is best performed within a temperature range of -9°C to +50°C .
Do not leave the monitor expose to strong sunlight for a long time or nearby any heat source,
moisture and excessive dusty environment.
Do not open the cabinet, no serviceable part inside.
