Enquiry calls
Escort enables you to hold an external call whilst you make an enquiry call to
another extension or on the other exchange line. The held external call may
be either incoming or outgoing and there is no limit to the number of
enquiry calls you can make.
To make an internal enquiry call
Tell your caller what you are going to do
and ask him to hold on.

Press the EXTN button for the
extension you require.
Escort puts the caller into Hold. The lamp
When the extension user answers make
your enquiry.
You may switch between the two parties
by pressing
EXTN
and LINE in
turn.
At the end of the enquiry call:
Press the
LINE
button next to the
rapidly flashing lamp .
next to the
LINE
button flashes
rapidly
T he caller in Hold cannot hear what you
are saying.
Escort reconnects you to the caller in
Hold.
