Check that the vehicle belt is securely fastened.

Check that no more than 20% or 7.6 cm (3 inches) of the base hangs
over the edge of the vehicle seat.

Check that the child seat cannot be moved front to back or side to side
more than 2.5 cm (1 in.) at the belt path. If the child seat is not secure,
repeat installation or use a different seating location.

Check that any excess Versa-Tether
®
webbing is contained within your
vehicle and secured in the elastic strap.

Push the child seat into the
vehicle seat while removing slack
(see pages 8 – 11).

Attach the Versa-Tether to a
designated anchor (see vehicle
owner’s manual) and remove
slack.

Store excess webbing in the
elastic strap.

Replace the cover.

Route the vehicle seat belt
through the forward-facing belt
slots, then buckle.
TIP:
Ensure the vehicle belt is not twisted.
