How to adjust the sensor sensitivity level

First stop the hood by pressing Button B.Then simultaneously press Buttons D and E (the sensor’s
sensitivity index will now appear in the display window). By pressing button D or E individually, you can
will either increase or decrease the sensitivity level (1 = minimum sensitivity, 9 = maximum sensitivity).
Note, that whenever there is an interruption to the electric supply, the sensor will resume operation at
sensitivity level 5.

Operation - As a traditional hood (without ASC)

See fig. 7 

A Button A

turns the lights on/off.

B Button B

is used to turn the “Automatic” function off, so the hood can be used as a traditional model.

C Display window C

indicates the selected motor speed (from 1 to 4). If the number flashes, this

indicates that the timer is on.When the central segments of the display are illuminated or flashing, this
indicates the Filter Alarm.This is to draw your attention that the hood has operated for 30 hours and it
is time to clean the grease filters.

D Button D

decreases the motor speed and is also used to turn the hood off. Button D is also used to

reset the Filter Alarm and start the countdown for the next 30 hours of operation. After cleaning the
grease filters simply press Button D whilst the central segment of display window C is illuminated or is
flashing and this will reset the filter alarm.

E Button E

is used to turn the hood on (at the last speed set) and to increase the motor speed.To

activate the timer keep Button E pressed down for a few seconds, the selected speed will begin flashing
in the window display.The hood will turn itself off after 5 minutes.You can change speed whilst the
timer is set if so desired.To cancel the timer prematurely press Button E.

Cleaning and maintenance

Always turn off the electricity supply before conducting any cleaning or maintenance.To remove the
metal grease filters for cleaning, see fig. 2 .These can be cleaned by hand in hot soapy water or cleaned
in a dishwasher. Grease filters must be cleaned regularly (after approx. 30 hours of operation) when the
filter alarm illuminates/flashes in the display window C.

Use a reputable stainless steel cleaner for cleaning the exterior of the hood and follow the
manufacturers instructions.

WARNING: Do not use silicone products as this may damage the sensor.

Changing the bulb

First turn off the electricity supply to the hood. Refer to fig. 8 , rotate the outer ring anti- clockwise.
Remove the old halogen bulb and replace with an identical bulb of the same wattage.

Caution - do not touch the glass bulb with bare hands.
