Gripping both attendant handles automatically
releases the brake override lock when each lever
is squeezed.
Press down gently on the accelerator lever and
the Ypush will accelerate forwards proportionally
until the maximum pre-set speed is reached.

Release and the Ypush will no longer have power
drive assistance. If the attendant releases or
relaxes grip on the push handle levers, automatic
independent braking will also be applied. Practice
this procedure gradually increasing the maximum
pre-set speed to gain experience and confidence.
Powered reversing:
To power reverse, make sure
that the Ypush is stationery press the grey
direction button

once. Now gently start to
press the accelerator control. The Ypush will start
to power reverse. A reversing beep will be heard.
Be very careful that there is ample space behind
you (the attendant) to be able to safely complete
the manoeuvre.
Occupant Sensor:
The occupant sensor ensures
that the Ypush cannot be driven in powered
mode without an occupant being sat in the
seat. This is a safety device to reduce the risk of
unintended operation and or misuse.
