SAFETY AND MAINTENANCE
To keep the optimal technical parameters of the luminaire the periodical maintenance should be
carried out. Before cleaning the product, disconnect it from power supply. Ignoring this warning can
cause danger of electric shock. The housing of the luminaire should be cleaned by generally available
cleaning supplies and also dried with a soft cloth. Do not use corrosives chemicals and solvents.
Do not use stream of water under pressure.
This symbol stands for selective collecting of the electrical and electronic equipment,
therefore, this product cannot be treated as other household’s waste. It has to be left
at a special used-equipment collection point. The appropriate dealing with the collection
of used electrical and electronic equipment is crucial, especially if the equipment
includes dangerous components which have a negative influence on the environment
and on the health of people.
Floodlights
INSTALLATION
Installation of the luminaire should be done by the certified and experienced electrician.
Before starting the installation you must absolutely turn off the main power supply, where
the luminaire should be connected to, to avoid accidental voltage connection! Electrical
cables must be connected according to the instruction and regulations in force.
Performing
any operations inside the luminaire with the power supply switched on may result in an
electric shock!

of the luminaire to the Buyer.

CHARACTERISTIC
ALUM is a series energy saving LED floodlights with high protection rate IP 65. They are perfect
for illumination of various objects and surfaces like: buildings elevations, yards, entrances,
gates, gardens, parking lots, boards, billboards, store windows, interior spaces with conditions
of increased humidity and pollination level.
Floodlight’s versions named ALUM 50R are equipped with PIR motion sensor. These types
have IP 44 protection rate.
The ribbed housing of luminaires is made of aluminum casting. The tempered glass shield
provides high protection rating as well as effective protection of LEDs against mechanical
impact. Due to metal movable mounting bracket those luminaires are adapted for installation
with various inclination angles.
LED panel with LEDs SMD type is used as the light source in ALUM floodlights, it allows
significant energy saving comparing to traditional luminaires and keeps the same luminous
parameters. The light sources of the luminaires are not replaceable, once the light source is
used up full luminaire should be replaced.
Light colour: neutral white (4000K).
Luminaires have a power cable that is lead out of the luminaire through tight gland.

he lenght of power cable is shown in [Fig.3.].
Terminal block / hermetic cable connector for current ~230V are not included in the set.
An advice from qualified person is needed for installation.

LUX function - Ambient Light Intensity
The level of light intensity, at which the sensor will be forced to launch the
lighting, is adjusting with the potentiometer in range from 3 lux to 2000 lux.
The sensor can work in the daytime and at the night when it is adjusted on
the “sun” position (max). It can work in the ambient light less than 3 lux
when it is adjusted on the “moon” position (min).
TIME function - Time-Delay
The time of turning the light on by the motion sensor could be adjusted in
the range from 10sec ±3sec to 7min±2min, by turning over
the potentiometer from min to max.
SENS function - Detection Distance
The detection distance of motion on by the sensor can be adjusted
in the range from 2m to 8m (<24
o
C) by turning the potentiometer from
minium to maximum.

1. Mark and drill properly spaced installation holes on the mounting surface.
Screw the floodlight to the mounting surface.
2. Connect the power cable to terminal block [Fig.1.] or hermetic connector [Fig. 2.],
accordingly:
- phase cable (brown) to the slot marked “L”,
- neutral cable (blue) to the slot marked „N”,
- safety cable (yellow-green) to the slot marked .
Recommended hermetic connectors ELGO brand ZH1-3P25, ZH2-3P25.
The terminal block and hermetic connector are not included in the set with the
luminaire.
3. Set the parameters of motion sensor.
4. Stabilize the floodlight in chosen position.
