REMOVE THE CONTROL PANEL
BULKHEAD
Remove Battery
1. Remove the (-) negative battery cable (Fig. 50).

NOTE
: Secure or tape the (-) negative battery
terminal so it won’t inadvertently make contact
with the battery terminals.
2. Remove the (+) battery cable.
3. Remove the battery and set aside.
Remove Control Panel
1. Remove the four screws that secure the
control panel (Fig. 51) and the four screws that
hold the circuit breaker cover .

2. Remove the 8-pin connector from the control
panel (CMA).
3. Disconnect the 2 and 10-pin connectors.
NOTE
: Mark the wires for easier assembly.
4. Disconnect
Wire #22,
and
Wire #11
(Fig. 52)
from the circuit breaker.

5. Disconnect
Wire #44
and the
ground wire
.
6. Remove all the load-side wiring (Fig. 52) from
the circuit breaker.
7. With the wiring harness disconnected, gather the
wires and push them through the grommet (Fig.
53) in the control panel bulkhead.
