Mount Remote Deflector Control
1. Using the template (a, Figure 35) included in the back
of this manual, drill two 9/32” holes in the left side of the
dashboard to mount the remote chute control.

2. Mount the mounting bracket assembly (RR, Figure 36)
to the dashboard. Secure with capscrews (a), large flat
washers (b) and nuts (c).

3. Install the remote deflector control handle (a, Figure 37)
in the mounting bracket assembly and secure with a
clevis pin (b) and hair pin clip (c).

Rear Lift Rod Alteration
Units with Suspension
On units with suspension, adjustment handle (a, Figure 36)
on rear hitch assembly may interfer with suspension cross
shaft (b). If so, remove 1

from end of adjustment rod.

Install Drift Cutters
1. On each side of snowthrower, insert bottom tab of drift
cutter (SS, Figure 39) into slot on snowthrower.
Secure in place with capscrew (S) and nut (T).
