14. The Wi-Fi connection between smart device/app and weather station will be established automat-

ically. This may take a few minutes. After successful connection, the icons for "Wi-Fi" and for the
signal strength as well as all available weather data will be displayed on the weather station's
screen.

NOTICE! In some cases, restrictions on the Internet connection (e.g. connection restrictions
due to firewall settings) may mean that a correct Wi-Fi connection could not be established.
In these cases an "Error" message is displayed in the app. Read the chapter "Troubleshoot-
ing" to find various ways to solve any problems.

11 Automatic time setting

After the power supply and the Wi-Fi connection are established, the time and date information is
automatically transmitted by the Internet time server.

If the reception is correct, the date and time are set automatically and the time transfer icon will be dis-
played.

If there is no automatic time setting, there may be a problem with the Wi-Fi connection. Read the
chapter "Troubleshooting" for possible solutions.

If the automatic time setting furthermore is not working, the time must be set manually. Please read
the chapter "Manual time setting and other user-defined settings".

12 Manual time setting and other user-defined

settings

1. Press the Settings/Brightness key for approx. 3 seconds to enter the settings mode.

2. Digits to be set are flashing.

3. Press UP/CH key or DOWN/WIFI key to change the setting.

4. Press the Settings/Brightness key to confirm and switch to the next setting.

5. Settings sequence: Temperature unit (°C or °F) > Air pressure unit (hPa or mb) > Wind speed unit

(km/h or mph) > 12 or 24 hour mode > Time zone (-12 to +12 hours) > Hours > Minutes > Date
display (M/D or D/M) > Year > Month > Day > Language of weekday information

6. Finally, press the Settings/Brightness key to save the settings and exit settings mode.

NOTICE! If no setting is made within 20 seconds, all settings made up to that point are saved
and the base station will switch back to normal display mode. For manual time setting, the Wi-Fi
connection must be disconnected.

13 Alarm setting

1. Press the Alarm key to display the alarm time.

2. Press the Alarm key for approx. 2 seconds to enter the alarm time settings mode.

3. Digits to be set are flashing.

4. Press UP/CH key or DOWN/WIFI key to change the setting.

5. Press the Alarm key to confirm and switch to the next setting.

6. Settings sequence: Hours > Minutes > Snooze interval (5 to 60 minutes or OFF)

7. Finally, press the Alarm key to save the settings and exit settings mode.

8. Move the alarm slider to   position to enable the alarm. The   symbol will displayed on the LCD.

The alarm is enabled.

9. Move the alarm slider to   position to disable the alarm. The   symbol is no longer displayed. The

alarm is disabled.
