Maintenance

REMOVAL OF TUBE LINER

ASSEMBLY OF TUBE LINER

1. Remove hanger bracket assembly,

drive dog and lower auger assembly.

2. Grind welds holding liner in place.

(Located at both ends of liner and
in the seam.)

3. Remove liner and grind smooth any re-

maining welds that are left in tube.

1. Compress liner to allow loose fi t in

lower auger tube.

2. Insert liner into auger tube. Align

holes used to mount hanger bracket
and allow liner to expand.

3. Temporarily place punch or bolt in

hanger bracket hole to retain posi-
tion.

4. Use clamps to hold liner tight against

auger tube. Tack weld liner into posi-
tion. Work your way around the tube,
alternating from top to bottom until
reaching the seam. The liner must be
tight against auger tube for a proper
fi t.

5. Reassemble lower auger, hanger

bracket assembly and drive dog.
