INSTALLATION
(see also Fig. 2)
Important:
1. The motion detector must be installed by a qualified electrician
in compliance with the IEC’s regulations for wiring.
2. The installation has to be in accordance to national regulations
and laws. In many countries there are additional requirements
to the national requirements.
3. Before working on electrical appliances, make sure that the
power is turned off (breaker/ main switch).
4. The motion sensor may only be used to trigger lights.
5. Loosen the screw on the underside of the housing, remove the
mounting plate and take the terminal strip out of the bracket. If
you want to mount the motion detector on a 90°-corner of a struc-
ture, use the enclosed corner bracket instead of the mounting
plate.
6. Feed the power cord and the light cord through the rubber gasket
on the mounting plate/corner bracket.
7. Mount the mounting plate/corner bracket at the mounting location.
8. Connect the power cable and the light cable to the terminal clip
(see Fig. 2).
9. Put the terminal clip back in place.
10. Attach the housing on the mounting plate/corner bracket and
tighten the screw.
11. Turn the power on. Now you can adjust the motion detector to the
desired settings.
