unfold automatically to the deployed
(horizontal) position when the lift
unfolds and automatically fold to the
stowed (vertical) position when the
platform folds.

Passengers should grip both hand-
rails when on the lift platform if able.
Discontinue lift operation immedi-
ately if the handrails do not
operate properly.

Interlocking Restraint Belt:
The CL917IB is equipped with
an occupant restraint belt. The
belt assembly is mounted to the
lift handrails. The receptacle is
mounted to the left (rear)
handrail. The buckle portion of
the belt is equipped with Velcro
to allow easy storage of the belt.
Simply attach the Velcro pads to
keep the belt off the ground
(prevent belt damage).

Interlock Feature: Power lift
functions cannot be activated if
the restraint belt is not latched
(buckled). A green indicator
light is built into the pump
module that illuminates when
the belt is latched (see page 5).
