USING THE GRILL+ FUNCTION

— This function allows you to combine the cho-
sen cooking method with a function that
“browns” your dish at the end of cooking; this
can be accomplished by turning on the grill for
the last five minutes of the programme.
It is only active for the following cooking func-
tions: “

This function can be programmed at the
beginning of the cooking cycle by adding five
minutes to the cooking time, or simply at the
end of cooking by pressing the “
” buttons.
— Set the desired cooking mode and adjust the
temperature if necessary.
— Press the “GRILL
+
” button and the cooking
time flashes 0:05 (this duration time is the min-
imum time necessary to activate the function
“
” for the cooking mode you have chosen).
— Press the + or - buttons to adjust the dura-
tion of total cooking time. The set time is
recorded automatically after a few seconds
and the display stops flashing.
— After these 3 steps, the oven heats up and the symbol “ ” lights up, indicating that the func-
tion is working.
To avoid overly fast browning, do not place dishes too close to the grill. Use 1

Sample dishes:
— Gratins with pasta, cauliflower, endive, scallops, crumbles, etc.
Programming examples: French onion soup:
— Select the cooking sequence, and temperature: 180°C, program: “
” and the time: 25 minutes.
The broth will heat for 20 minutes and the gratin will be done during the remaining five minutes.
Tip
It is possible to activate or deactivate this option at any point during cooking by
pressing the “ ” buttons.
It is also possible to activate this function for a delayed cooking programme.
Warning
Turning the function selector will deactivate the function “ ”.
