Steam cooking advices
PLATE FOR STEAM COOKING
The steam cooking plate is specially designed for microwaves.
With the steam plate, you can have an authentic steam cooking for your food, and
this simply in the microwave. During this process, foods are not cooked directly by
the waves because they are isolated by the stainless steel wall of the container. The
waves’ role is to bring the water to the boil
in the glass part of the plate. The formed
steam is spread
and cooks foods. The food’s nutrients and taste are preserved.
SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS RELATIVE TO THE STEAM PLATE
For your safety:
The steam plat become very hot during cooking. Risk of burn !
Never use alcohol. Risk of explosion !
After cooking, open carefully the steam plate. Hot steam can escape. Risk of
scalding !
Cause of damages:
Never use the steam plate without putting water. The microwave and the steam plate
could be damaged.
If you use the plate in another microwave, check that the cavity is not too small. If it
is the case, never use the steam plate. Sparks can occur and damage the
microwave.
Never use a damaged steam plate.
If the transparent silicone seal is missing on the perforated stainless steel plate, or if
the steam plate is deformed, sparks can occur. The microwave will be damaged.
