Troubleshooting
Labels jam on the tarp
Labels jam on the tarp
Problem: Labels jam or fold on the wrapper rather than adhering properly to the wire.
Solutions:
• Check the
Feed to Wire
setting and return it to zero if it is set higher. See
“Print Adjustments” on
page 34
.
• The tarp may have adhesive residue on it. See
“Cleaning the Tarp” on page 39
.
• Examine the tarp. If it has a white horizontal line or cracks, it needs to be replaced. Contact Technical
Support. See

• The rollers may have debris on them. See
“Cleaning the Rollers and Peel Plate” on page 41
.
Label material jams within the printer
Problem: Label material doesn’t feed properly through the printer and jams.
Solutions:
• Make sure the label supply is loaded correctly and is not wrapped around the rollers. See
“Loading
Label Supply” on page 17
• The rollers may be dirty or contaminated with adhesive. See
“Cleaning the Rollers and Peel Plate”
on page 41
.
• Labels may be stuck in the peeler area or to the rollers below the peel plate. Remove stuck labels
and any adhesive residue. See
“Cleaning the Rollers and Peel Plate” on page 41
.
• The tarp may be dirty or contaminated with adhesive. See
“Cleaning the Tarp” on page 39
.
• One of the sensors may be dirty. See
“Cleaning the Sensors” on page 43
.
• On the touch screen, tap Load Supplies and then tap Clear Jam . Follow the instructions on the
screen to clear the jam.
Label material feeds incorrectly
Problem: Rollers move, but the label material stays in place, the label material has slack in it, or the
label material seems to feed backwards. An error message states that the peeler door is open.
