display to disappear.
14.2 -
Insert three LR6 1.5 V penlight AA alkaline
batteries, respecting polarity indicated on the
bottom of the housing (fig. 49).
If the messages on the display do not appear
within 30 seconds, press the reset button R.
WARNING. Inserting the batteries the wrong
way round can damage the unit.
You have approx. 2 min to replace the batte-
ries, after the time for replacing the batteries
or after pressing the reset button R, the set-
tings are lost.
To restart the unit, follow the procedure given
from section 4 on.
Close the unit, making sure the fasteners fit in the
relevant slots (fig. 50), at which point the various
indications should come back onto the display
after a few seconds.
