Pairing and Connecting the Teacher Microphone
When you receive your AMP kit, the microphones in the kit are paired to the amplifier. You DO NOT need
to repair the microphones with the AMP.
Definitions
• Pairing : introducing the two devices so they can pass sound between them. Pairing only
needs to be done one time unless the microphone becomes unpaired, or the amplifier is
cleared. Each AMP-KIT comes with the microphones paired to the amplifier.
• Connecting : turning on the microphone so the audio can be heard in the classroom. You
will need to connect/turn on your mic whenever you want to use it in the classroom.
The User Interface allows for the amplifier to have the High Frequency ON or OFF. By default when
shipped, the amplifier’s high frequency is turned OFF. To turn the High Frequency ON, you will need to log
into the UI of the amplifier using the “IT” username and change from High Frequency OFF to ON.

The difference with pairing microphones with the High Frequency ON is that you do not have to touch the
amplifier to pair the microphones. Stand within 5-10 feet of the amplifier and you can pair using the
microphone only (one button pairing).
