BoSS X-Series 

User guide

The BoSS X-Series machine may be lifted by a crane or Hiab by 

threading adequately rated lifting straps through each of the forklift 

pockets on the machine.

WARNING

A full risk assessment must be carried out.

The straps must be threaded inside the guardrails of the machine.

Lifting

Prior to transporting the BoSS X-Series machine on a vehicle, ensure 

that the following precautions are taken:

Preparation for transport

a.

 

Ensure that the platform is fully lowered to its rest position.

b.

  

Ensure that the handset controller is secured to the platform and 

that the transit gate lock is engaged.

c.

  

Ensure that both swivel castor brakes are applied.

d.

  

Secure the BoSS X-Series machine to the transport vehicle using 

straps through each of the forklift pockets as shown below.
