
CAUTION
The spreader throws material at a high
speed that could cause minor injuries to
bystanders.
Bystanders should stay a minimum of 7.6
m (25 ft) away from operating spreaders.

Once the hopper is empty, turn off the spreader
controller.
8.
Swing the spinner assembly back into place and
release the spinner spring pin.
Adjusting the Material
Deflectors
You can adjust the material deflectors by inserting
the deflector pins into the staggered holes near the
spinner (
).

Adjusting the Rubber Flaps
The rubber flaps on the spreader wear down over
time and must be adjusted.
1.
Ensure that the spreader controller is in the O
FF
position, and unplug the spreader wire harness
from the vehicle wire harness.
2.
Remove the hopper cover and top screen.
3.
Loosen the bolts securing the rubber flaps and
slide them down until at least 32 mm (1-1/4
inches) of the flap sticks out past the metal plate
