4.7) Firmware Upgrades
These
camera

are equipped with an automatic upgrade function
.
Upgrading
should be performed
when
a new
firmware is available.
F
ollow the
se
steps
to perform an
upgrade.
Ø
Back up the content on the SD card
to
your computer
. F
ormat the SD card if content is not
useful
.
Ø
Re
mo
ve the SD card
from the camera
and plug it in your
PC
(SD card reader may
be
needed).
Copy and
paste the
FW18NA.BIN
file in
to
the root directory of the SD card. Consult with the
your local d
istributor if there is an upgrade available.
Ø
Re
mo
ve the SD card
fromyour PC
and insert it back in the camera. Switch to TEST mode and check the
Fimrware version number in Camera setup. If the Version number is changed, it means the
updating is success
ful. If
not,
retry the
upgrade.
Ø
After
an
upgrade is
performed
, please
d
elete the firmware
file from the
SD
c
ard
.
O
therwise, the camera will be upgrade everytime when turn on.
WARNING
:

irmware for one
camera
model is not compatible on the other model
s
due to
different functions.
