Dismantling and replacement

Make sure that the system is switched on but not involved in any production
process and check correct function of all protective devices of the system (e.g.
current operated earth leakage circuit breaker, emergency stop).

The test has to be documented according to VBG4, DIN VDE0105-100!

Make sure that the fan unit and the air inlet and outlet is not dirty or blocked.

Clean heatsink fan.

Check connections and terminals of all connecting cables for proper fit when
the system is switched off and inactive.

Also check all cables for damage.

Defective parts must be replaced immediately!

The system may not be operated until restoration of its proper condition!
If pneumatic or water unit is available:

Check whether the input of the pneumatic unit has sufficient air pressure.

Check all pneumatic connections for leaks.

Make sure that the system is involved in no production process
and perform the inspection and maintenance work specified by the
manufacturer of the pneumatic unit.

Check whether sufficient water pressure is available at the input of the water
unit.

Check the cooling water circuit for leaks.

Make sure that the system is not involved in any production process and
perform the inspection and maintenance work specified by the manufacturer
of the water unit.
11 Dismantling and replacement
Only use spare parts approved by us!
Please note the following protective measures for electrostatically sensitive
devices and assemblies (ESD-sensitive components):
•
The personnel responsible for the storage, transport and handling must be
trained in ESD protection.
•
ESD-sensitive components must be stored and transported in the prescribed
protective packaging.
•
ESD-sensitive components may principally be handled at special ESD
workstations only.
•
Personnel, work surfaces and all equipment and tools, which may come into
contact with ESD-sensitive components, must have the same potential (e.g.
grounding).
• Wear an approved grounding bracelet. The grounding bracelet
must be connected to the work surface via a cable with integrated 1 Mohm
resistor.
•
ESD-sensitive components must never come into contact with chargeable
objects, including most plastics.
•
When inserting and removing ESD-sensitive components in devices, the
devices have to be switched off.
