The line for connecting the equipment grounding conductor must
have at least the cross section (wire size) of the mains supply feed‐
er. If the cross sections (wire sizes) of the mains supply feeder are
smaller than 10 mm 2 (AWG 8), the equipment grounding conductor
must be at least 10 mm
2
(AWG 8).
