Destruction of the device due to improper
connection
NOTICE
If connected improperly, the device might be destroyed. For that reason,
avoid:
●
Polarity reversal with simultaneous short-circuit of the output lines.
● Polarity reversal with simultaneous connection of externally polarized
suppressor diodes.
● Applying an external voltage at the digital output which is greater than
the segment voltage U

If the 2-pin connection is incorrect, there is no
longer protection from GND breakage.
NOTICE
The 0 V reference of the connected loads must be returned to the 0 V con‐
nection of the control. I.e. a two-pin connection must be ensured. Otherwise,
there will be no reliable protection from GND breakage.
10.7.11 Further Interfaces
The further interfaces (Ethernet, PROFIBUS DP, sercos, Ready contact,
Compact Flash card, Inline bus and function modules) are described in the
project planning manuals of the Rexroth IndraControl L45/L65/L85 and
Rexroth IndraControl L25 controls, see also "Further documents" on page 6 .
Connect the Ready contact (X2R) by means of cables featuring a
conductor cross-section of AWG 16-24.
