attaching or removing abrasive sheets.
ATTACHING REGULAR SANDING SHEETS
USING SHEETLOC™ SYSTEM
The Bosch-Exclusive Sheetloc Supreme™
Sandpaper Attachment System pulls regular
abrasive sheets (sandpaper) flat and tight
before clamping to prevent wrinkles, creases
and tears for optimal sanding performance and
longer paper life. Patents Pending
1. While pressing the rear clamp release lever,
insert the abrasive sheet (grit side down)
between the rear clamp and base plate.
Make sure that sheet is centered under the
rear clamp and inserted deep enough to be
fully under the rear clamp, then release the
lever (Fig. 2).
2. To open the front clamp, press the front
clamp lever out from the tool (Fig. 3).
3. Wrap the abrasive sheet around the length
of the pad and slide free end of sheet under
the front clamp’s black bar. Flatten the
abrasive sheet by pushing it as far to the
back as possible, then the move the front
clamp lever to the base plate and lock it in
place. This action pulls the abrasive taut
while clamping, which prevents wrinkles,
creases and tears (Fig. 4).
REMOVING REGULAR SANDING SHEETS
Simply press the rear clamp lever and release
the front clamp lever to release the abrasive
sheet (Fig. 2 & 3).
REPLACEMENT OF BACKING PAD
The backing pad can be replaced if needed.
Remove the six M4 screws and remove the
worn pad. Position the new pad over the screw
holes, insert the screws and tighten (Fig. 5).
ATTACHING PSA “STICK-ON”
ABRASIVE SHEETS
Your sander can also be used with PSA-
backed
“stick-on”
abrasive
sheets
(sandpaper), which have pressure sensitive
adhesive.
1. Peel protective sheet from the back of PSA
sheet.
2. Align PSA sheet with backing pad and
press firmly in place.
