option displays the number of tires filled

only if the initial pressure difference during inflation
is greater than 10 psi.

6.3

Initiating nitrogen generation

After the NTI 105 is powered on, nitrogen generation
starts automatically.

i

If the NTI 105 is idle, the CMS valves can be
switched off manually. In turn the load on the
compressor reduces resulting in energy savings.
However, ensure that you switch on the CMS valves
after you switch on the NTI 105. Else, the quantity
of nitrogen left in the tank will be filled and the set
pressure may not be achieved.

i

The purity of nitrogen increases after each cycle of
filling.

To manually stop the nitrogen generation, press the

key

.

"

The message

CMS VALVES SWITCHED OFF

 is dis-

played on the LCD.

To start the nitrogen generation again, press the

v

key.

"

The message

CMS VALVES SWITCHED ON

 is displayed

on the LCD.

i

To switch on the CMS valves, press

1

 (Inflate) or the

key. To switch off, press the

z

 key.

6.4

Tire inflation

i

Observe the tank pressure. It should be 8 bar. If
the pressure is lower, wait till the pressure reaches
8 bar.

i

Usually the filling pressure is mentioned in the sill
of the driver's door. Open the drivers's door of the
vehicle and observe the filling pressure. Else, refer to
the vehicle documentation.

1.

Select nitrogen or air inflation using the toggle
switch.

2.

In the main menu, press

1

.

i

To change the unit between

Bar or PSI,

press the

UNIT

 key.

3.

Select the filling accuracy (refer chapter 4.4).

4.

Connect the filling nozzle to the tire.

5.

Press

Enter

.

Hold the filling nozzle to the tire until the set pres-
sure is reached. After the set pressure is reached,
a long beep is heard and the green LED glows.

6.

Remove the filling nozzle and connect it to the next
tire.

"

The tire inflation resumes automatically within 15
seconds without pressing the

ENTER

 key. To stop tire

inflation, press

Abort

.

6.5

Tire deflation

1.

In the main menu, press

2

.

2.

Hold the filling nozzle till the tire gets deflated.

After the set pressure is reached, a long beep is
heard and the status indication LED glows. The
message

TIRE DEFLATION COMPLETED

 is dis-

played on the LCD. The main menu is displayed.

3.

Repeat steps 1 and 2 for all the tires. To stop tire
deflation, press

Abort

.

6.6

Tire inflation counter

In the main menu, press

4

.

"

The number of tires filled is displayed. After about 10
seconds the message is dismissed automatically and
the main menu is displayed. A maximum count of 9999
tires is registered by the inflation counter,
