Troubleshooting

i

If some of the troubleshooting actions suggested in this chapter cannot be performed, contact customer ser-
vice. The troubleshooting actions can be performed based on error codes displayed or symptoms displayed by
the NTI 105.

5.1

Based on error codes

Error code

Messages

Actions

01

HOSE IMPROPER

R

Disconnect the filling nozzle from the tire and connect it back to tire. Ensure

that the hose is connected to the digital outlet port.

R

Check if there is leakage at the connector. If there is leakage, the clip should

be tightened.

02

SET PRESSURE EXCEEDS

Check the set pressure value. It should be equal to or lesser than 65 psi.

03

POWER SUPPLY ERROR

Contact customer service.

04

PRESSURE SENSOR ERROR

Contact customer service.

06

Pressure Plausibility

R

Check tire pressure and ensure that it is within recommended range.

R

Refer and execute actions described for error 1.

R

Ensure sufficient tank pressure/inlet pressure during filling.

R

Pressure sensor may not be functioning. Contact customer service.

Indication

Actions

Nitrogen pressure gauge displays

0 psi

No nitrogen in the nitrogen tank because of any

of the following reasons:

R

Leakage at the CMS tank outlet.

R

Failure of non-return valve.

R

Bursting of the pneumatic pipe at the output

of CMS tank.

R

End fittings of the nitrogen tank are loose.

R

Safety valve is loosely connected.

R

Burst or leakage in the pneumatic pipe at the

output of nitrogen tank.

R

Leakage at the end fitting of pressure gauge.

R

Contact customer service to replace

the pneumatic pipe of the CMS tank.

R

Contact customer service to replace

non-return valve.

R

Tighten the end fittings of the nitro-

gen tank.

R

Tighten the pressure relief valve and

check for leakage. If leakage persists,

contact customer service to replace the

pressure relief valve.

R

Contact customer service to replace

the pneumatic pipe at the output of the

nitrogen tank.

No display

5 VDC supply is not available because of any of

the following reasons:

R

Check if the power cable is connected to the

mains supply.

R

Power supply board has failed

R

5 VDC wire is disconnected from the terminal

block.

R

LCD connector is disconnected from the con-

trol board.

R

Control board has failed.

R

Contact customer service to replace

the power supply board.

R

Connect the 5 VDC wire back to termi-

nal block.

R

Connect the LCD connector to connec-

tor on the control board.

R

Contact customer service to replace

the control board.

Filling rate of nitrogen is slow

R

Pressure of the compressed air supply to the

unit is less than 8 bar.

R

Pressure of the compressed air supply is not

continuous.

R

Flow rate of the incoming compressed air is

less than 120 lpm.

R

For best performance, ensure that the

pressure of compressed air supply is

constantly in the range of 10 bar to 16

bar. Also, ensure that the flow rate is

120 lpm.
