Bosch Power Tools

Operation with remote automatic switching
(see figure B)
A socket outlet with earthing contact
5
is inte-
grated in the vacuum cleaner, which allows for
connection of an external power tool. The vacu-
um cleaner is automatically put into operation
via the power tool. Observe the maximal allowa-
ble load of the connected power tool.
Set the mode selector switch
4
to the
operation
with remote automatic switching
symbol.
For connecting power tools, various hose sys-
tems are available as accessories.
To
start the operation
of the vac, switch on the
power tool connected to the socket
5
. The vac-
uum cleaner starts automatically.
To
switch off
the vac, switch off the power tool.
The vacuum cleaner switches off automatically
approx. 6 seconds later.
Electromagnetic filter cleaning
The machine is equipped with an electromag-
netic filter cleaning system, which removes dust
adhering to the folded filter
12
.
The filter cleaning system must be actuated lat-
est when the vacuuming performance is no long-
er sufficient.
Set the mode selector switch
4
to the symbol
electromagnetic filter cleaning
. A possibly con-
nected power tool must be switched off.
The machine vibrates for approx. 10 seconds
and switches off automatically.
Wait shortly before restarting the vacuuming op-
eration so that the dust can settle in the contain-
er.
The filter cleaning frequency depends on the
type and amount of dust. With regular usage,
the maximum vacuuming performance is main-
tained longer.
Wet Vacuuming
f
Do not vacuum inflammable or explosive
fluids; for example, benzene, oil, alcohol,
solvents. Do not vacuum hot or burning
dust. Do not operate the machine in rooms
where the danger of an explosion exists.
The dusts, vapours or fluids can ignite or ex-
plode.
f
The vacuum cleaner may not be used as a
water pump.
The vacuum cleaner is intended
for vacuuming air and water mixtures.
f
Before any work on the vacuum cleaner it-
self, pull the mains plug.
Note:
Before wet vacuuming, the dust bag
11
must be removed and the container
9
must be
emptied.
The machine is equipped with level sensors
14
.
The vac switches off when the maximum filling
height is reached. Set the mode selector switch
4
to
off
.
After vacuuming, remove the folded filter
12
in
order to avoid mildew, and allow it to dry thor-
oughly, or remove the vacuum lid
3
and allow it
to dry.
Application Possibilities
The vacuum cleaner is suitable for vacuuming
and extracting the following materials:
– Fine dusts below the general dust limit value
of 3 mg/m
3
– Dusts of mineral materials with aluminium
hydroxide
– Graphite dusts
– Aluminium dusts *
– Paper dusts *
– Soot dusts *
– Powder-paint dusts *
– Polyurethane dusts *
– GFRP dusts based on epoxy resin, see manu-
facturer’s data sheet on safety *
– CFP dusts based on epoxy resin, see manu-
facturer’s data sheet on safety *
* When not being used in zone 22 according to
ATEX Product Guideline 94/9/EC and ATEX Op-
eration Guideline 1999/92/EC
