Setup

Battery Charging

Connect the EMMIT to AC power adapter and fully char-

ge the battery.

When the EMMIT is turned on the level of battery charge 

is indicated in the upper right corner of the screen. The 

battery can also be charged using the 12 volt power 

cable connected to a power outlet.

Note: EMMIT can be used while charging. The device charges 

when connected to a vehicle’s DLC connector, AC power adapter.

Settings

1.  Press the power button to turn on the EMMIT.
2.  Press settings button in upper right corner to display 

the Setting Menu.

3.  Select language.

4.  Save when finished.

Note: Tool must be completely powered down and back on to apply 

selected language on EMMIT.

5.  Select User Profile.

6.  Save when finished.
