b. In the Day Start field, select 7:00 AM then, in the Day End field select 5:00 PM Then,
press ESC to exit.

27. Press the down arrow button to select Exception Days , within the Profiles tab.
28. Press the right arrow button and edit the Start Time & Date to 06-16 7:00 AM (month,
day, time).
29. Press the right arrow button and edit the Duration to 8 hours and 30 [min] .
30. Press the right arrow button to select Weekend Night under Profile which uses the
7.5 IPS and Low quality profile which was specified earlier.
Note: It is recommended to use a profile ( Weekday Day , Weekday Night , Weekend Day ,
or Weekend Night ) which is already being used for exception days unless the user wants
to permanently change the profile. Otherwise, the user must remember to change the
profile immediately before the exception day has started and immediately after the
exception day has been completed.
31. Press ESC to exit.

2.3 Event Setup Tab
The Event Setup tab allows the user to set the parameters within the camera’s field of view
for recording. For example, use this tab to record motion in one specific area such as the cash
register or door.
2.3.1 Configuring the Area of Motion
To configure the area of motion, do the following:
1.
Press the MENU button on the front panel of the DVR4C unit.
2. Press the right arrow button to select Event Setup , then press the down arrow button to
select the respective camera number (1-4) to set the parameters for recording (see
Table 2.11 ).
