Fig. 28: Removal of pressure limiter
4.
Remove the pressure limiter. Support the front rail
with a wrench while doing so (see Fig. 28).
5.
Take out the sealing cone.
6.
Fit a new sealing cone (replacement part:
1 683 387 112).
7.
Before fitting, lubricate the thread and O-ring of the
new pressure limiter with a small quantity of test oil.
8.
Screw the new pressure limiter into the assembly
hole and tighten to 70 Nm.
9.
Slacken the pressure limiter again by 90°.
10.
Tighten the pressure limiter to 90 ±5 Nm.
11.
Re-attach the high-pressure rail to the installation
panel and connect (refer to Section 6.4).
6.6
Replacing pressure sensor B9/B10
i
Proceed as described in Section 6.5. When fitting,
always use a new sealing cone and tighten the com-
ponent to the specified torque
(refer to Section 3.1.1).
1.
Replace the pressure sensor.
2.
Start up and re-calibrate the high-pressure rail
(refer to Section 7).
