Checking/replacing pressure control
valve ED02
Fig. 17: CRR 120 pressure control valve EDO2
1.
Switch on the power and pressure supply. The pres-
sure switch PM1 must be switched on.
2.
Set the white lever of the valve WST 5/2 to the down
position. Connect the test pressure gage to pressure
connection A.
3.
Check the supply voltage (terminal 7 = +24 V brown
wire / terminal 11 = 0 V blue wire).
4.
Check the +10 V supply voltage for the potentiome-
ters (terminal 8 black wire).
5.
The setpoint input of the active potentiometer must
be measurable at terminal 9 (row 3, white wire to
ED02). 0 V – 10 V corresponds to 0 bar – 6 bar.
6.
If all signals are being applied and the ED02 does
not show any outlet pressure (test pressure gage at
pressure connection A), check the connecting cable
to ED02. Replace ED02 if necessary.
Removing ED02
1.
Unscrew the connector (Fig. 17, Pos. 1).
2.
Unfasten the twin nipple (Fig. 17, Pos. 2).
3.
Slacken off the bolts on the underside of the hous-
ing.
4.
Unfasten the T-fitting on the back of the ED02.
5.
Use an Allen key to screw part of the twin nipple out
of the distributor.
6.
Insert the new ED02 accordingly.
i
The ED02 has an inlet pressure connection on both
sides. Make sure there is no sealing element under
the twin nipple. The dummy plug must be inserted
on the other side (on the underside of the ED02 in
the illustration).
