Troubleshooting

... the electric ignition system fails
Possible cause Remedy
■
Fuse fault.
■
Check whether the fuse is
blown or the automatic circuit
breaker has been triggered.
■
Check whether there is any
food or detergent residue
between the igniters and the
burners.
■
The burner is wet.
■
The burner heads and/or
covers are not properly
positioned.
■
Electric power is
disconnected .

Check the fuse in the fuse box and replace
it, if necessary.

Check whether the automatic circuit breaker
in the fuse box or a differential switch has
been triggered.
►
Carefully clean the area between the igniter
and the burners.
►
Carefully dry the burner parts and the spark
plugs.

Check the burner parts for proper
positioning.
►
Ensure that the electrical connection has
been properly installed.
... the flames burn irregularly
Possible cause Remedy

The burner parts have not
been correctly positioned on
the hob.
■
The gas outlets of the burner
are blocked or dirty.

Position the burner parts correctly on the
hob.
►
Clean the gas outlets of the burner.
... the flame pattern is irregular or there is no gas at the burner
Possible cause Remedy
■
Main gas tap(s) closed.
■
If you use bottled gas, the
bottle might be empty.
►
Open the gas supply tap(s).
►
Replace the empty bottle with a full one.
