USE
NOTE: Do not plug in unit until it has been filled with water.
1. Determine how much water you need to properly heat your
bottle based on the table to the left. Remove graduated tube
from back of product and fill with proper amount of water.
Pour water into main compartment of bottle warmer.
2. Insert large basket in warming chamber so that the Boon
logo is aligned with the ON button in the front.
For wide neck bottles:
Place the bottle into the large
warming basket.
For standard reusable bottles (straight or angled):
Place the
adapter ring onto the top of the large basket so that the top
edges are flush. Place the bottle into the warmer.
For disposable bottles and baby food jars:
Use the lift-out
basket for these items. Do not use the adpater ring. Place
the bottle or jar into the lift-out basket and then place into
the large basket.
For Nursh
®
Silicone Bottles:
Use the lift-out basket for these
bottles. Do not use the adapter ring. Place the bottle into the
lift-out basket and then place into the large basket. Collar
and nipple must be removed in order to warm the 4oz
bottle. Please note that bottle shell will be hot to the touch
after warming. Only remove using the lift-out basket. It may
be necessary to let the bottle cool before handling.
NOTE: Remove lid of baby food jar before placing in the
lift-out basket. Never place a bottle or jar in the warming
chamber without using one of the baskets. Bottle or jar could
be damaged or overheated.
3. Plug into receptacle. Press the ON button. It will light up to
indicate that the unit is heating.
4. When the light goes off, the warming cycle is complete. The
heater will shut off automatically. Remove bottle immediately
so it will not continue heating. Bottles/Jars may be hot.
Remove from chamber and allow 1 minute to cool before
handling.
NOTE: If bottle gets too warm, use slightly less water next time.
If bottles do not seem quite warm enough, use slightly more
water.
Allow heating element to cool for 10 minutes before using
warmer to heat any additional item.
Unplug the warmer when finished using.
CLEANING & CARE
Measuring container, baskets, and adapter ring: Dishwasher-
safe (top rack only).
Measuring container should be placed in a dishwasher basket
or washed in warm water using mild liquid soap and rinsed
with clear water.
Bottle warmer unit: Always unplug the unit and let it cool
down before cleaning. Wipe surface of unit as well as inside
of warming chamber with a damp cloth or sponge using mild
liquid soap. Be sure to remove all soap residue by wiping
again with clear water. Air dry.
Do not immerse in water. Do not use scouring pads, solvents,
or abrasive cleaners, as these could damage the unit.
Warming chamber: Mineral deposits (usually white in color)
may form on the inner surfaces of the warming chamber and
can cause damage to the unit.
To remove them:
1. Unplug the unit and let it cool down.
2. Remove the basket, and wash separately as indicated
above.
3. Pour 2 oz. vinegar into the warming chamber and let it
stand for an hour or two (longer if necessary).
4. Pour out the vinegar and rinse the chamber two or three
times by pouring in, then emptying out, 3 or 4 oz. of clear
water.
Do not immerse the Bottle Warmer in water. Wipe dry or air dry.
