Remove the block heater outlet hose

no. 33

1. Block heater outlet hose
2. Fuel line

NOTE:

Catch any coolant spillage.

Unscrew the clamps retaining the carburetor to
the engine and to the air box. Free carburetor from
the intake adaptor.

1. Unscrew these clamps

Unscrew the valve piston assembly then remove
the block heater inlet hose

no. 32

1. Valve piston assembly
2. Block heater inlet hose

Use the following procedure if the block heater
and carburetor separation is necessary (ex: block
heater or carburetor replacement).

With the carburetor removed, unscrew the screw

no. 35

then remove the block heater lock

no. 36
