Wiring 

Figure 2.2.4.1  shows  the  typical  diagram  for  wiring  the  detector  into  the  polling  loop  of  a  PL 

controller.  The  first  terminal  of  the  detector  base  can  be  used  to  connect  a  shield  of  the  connecting 
wire.

How to Open the Detector 

To  open  the  detector,  detach  it  from  its  base  and  use  the  blade  of  a  flat–head  screwdriver  to 

release small clips through the rectangular hole shown in Figure 2.2.5.1. Then open the detector along

Indication 

Table 2.2.6.1  shows  the  operation  modes  of  the  detector  and  the  relevant  indication  patterns. 

The  pattern  period  is  4 s;  the  number  of  steps  in  the  pattern  is  8,  and  the  time  between  steps  in  the 
pattern is 0.5 s.
