7.2 Control Input
7.2.1 Version Bistabil
The control voltage applied to the input RR, or RG resp., may be DC voltage or AC voltage. The
voltage must be within an allowed range. If the voltage is too low, proper function is not reliable or
not possible. If the voltage is too high, the relay may be destroyed due to overload and overheat-
ing. It applies:
–
min. recommended voltage: 12 V DC (or equivalently approx. 8.5 V AC)
–
max. allowed voltage if applied for a short time (few seconds) only: 30 V DC or 25 V AC
–
max. recommended voltage if applied continuously: 24 V DC or AC
To have effect it is sufficient to apply the control voltage only for a very short time (20 ms). The po-
larity of the applied voltage does not matter due to a built-in rectifier. A permanently applied con-
trol voltage is acceptable, if a lower maximum voltage is observed.
Under no circumstances apply a control voltage to both control inputs simultaneously.
With a control voltage of 16 V, the current is approximately 13 mA.
7.2.2 Version Monostabil
The control voltage applied to the input RG may be DC voltage (polarity does not matter due to a
built-in rectifier ) or AC voltage. The voltage must be within an allowed range. If the voltage is too
low, proper function is not reliable or not possible. If the voltage is too high, the relay may be des-
troyed due to overload and overheating. It applies:
–
min. recommended voltage: 12 V DC or AC
–
maximum voltage: 24 V DC or AC
With a control voltage of 16 V, the current is approximately 13 mA.
7.2.3 Version Bremsgenerator
This version has no control input.
