prüfen - Fortsetzung Before installing the unit in an Ex zone

2.3.1.6 Stimmt die Einbaulage mit der auf dem Ty-
penschild des Getriebes angegebenen Ein-
baulage überein? Beachten Sie: Ein Wechsel
der Einbaulage darf nur nach vorheriger
Rücksprache mit der Fa. BOCKWOLDT er-
folgen. Ohne vorherige Rücksprache erlischt
die ATEX-Zulassung! Check that the actual mounting position
matches the mounting position specified on the
Gear Box rating plate. If you intend changing
the mounting position you should contact
BOCKWOLDT for approval beforehand. Unap-
proved changes will void the ATEX certification
for this equipment!
2.3.1.7 Stimmt der bauformgerechte Ölstand mit der
auf dem Typenschild des Getriebes ange-
gebenen Ölfüllmenge überein?
(siehe Kapitel 8.5)
Check that the Gear Box is filled to the oil capacity
specified on the rating plate. Check on the oil level
indicator. The position of the oil level indicator de-
pends on the mounting position. (see section 8.5)
2.3.1.8 Sind alle Ölkontroll- und Ablass-Schrauben
sowie Entlüftungsventile frei zugänglich und
öldicht? Check that all the oil level and drain screws
and vent valves are easily accessible.
2.3.1.9 Haben alle zu montierenden An- und Ab-
triebselemente eine ATEX-Zulassung? Check that all drive and driven components
to be installed have ATEX approval.
2.3.1.10 Ist sichergestellt, dass bei Sologetrieben
(NF- bzw. K-Ausführung) die auf dem Ty-
penschild des Getriebes angegebenen Da-
ten nicht überschritten werden? Check on solo Gear Boxes (NF and K ver-
sions) that the rating plate data are not ex-
ceeded.
2.3.1.11 Bei Montage des Ex-Motors an ein Sologe-
triebe (NF-Ausführung) durch den Anwen-
der sind zusätzliche Maßnahmen entspre-
chend Kapitel 7.4 erforderlich! When assembling an Ex-proof motor to a
single Gear Box (NF-execution), additional
measures are required in accordance with
section 7.4.
2.3.1.12 Bei netzbetriebenen Motoren:

Prüfen, ob die auf dem Typenschild von
Getriebe und Motor angegebenen Daten
mit den Umgebungsbedingungen am
Einsatzort übereinstimmen.
For mains operated motors:

Check that the data specified on the
Gear Box and Geared Motor rating
plates match the operating conditions of
the installation site.
2.3.1.13 Bei Umrichter betriebenen Getriebemotoren:

Prüfen, ob der Getriebemotor für Um-
richterbetrieb zugelassen ist.

Die Parametrierung des Umrichters
muss eine Überlast des Getriebes ver-
hindern.

Entweder werden grundsätzlich druck-
fest gekapselte Motoren verwendet –
oder die Motor-Umrichter-Kombination
besitzt eine eigene Bescheinigung.

Umrichtermotoren ohne isoliertes B-
Lager müssen zur Eingangswelle des
Getriebes galvanisch isoliert sein.

Alternativ bewertet der Errichter den Ein-
fluss der vagabundierenden Ströme in
eigener Verantwortung.

Hinweis: Bei kleinen Motoren bis ca. 6
kW und einer Impedanz < 10 m Ω zwi-
schen A- und B-Lager ist meistens nicht
mit gefährlichen äußeren vagabundie-
renden Strömen zu rechnen.
For Geared Motors driven by frequency con-
verters:

Check that the Geared Motor is approved
for use with frequency converters.

The converter must be set to prevent a
Gear Box overload.

Either basically flameproof enclosure mo-
tors are used - or the motor-inverter com-
bination has its own certificate.

Inverter motors without insulated B-bearing
(non drive side) must be galvanically isolat-
ed from the input shaft of the gearbox.

Alternative: The installer evaluates the
influence of the vagabonding currents on
his own responsibility.

Note: For smaller motors up to approx. 6
kW and an impedance < 10 m
Ω between
A and B bearings, dangerous external
vagabonding currents are usually not to
be expected.
