Approved wheel and tire specifications

Use the spare tire only for short dis-
tances (to reach the nearest BMW cen-
ter, for instance). Due to the altered
handling characteristics, do not exceed
a maximum speed of 50 mph (80 km/h).
Mounting snow chains on the spare tire
is not possible. Be sure that all tires are
