If you want to increase the re-
bound stage, turn adjusting
ring
1 in direction b .
Rebound stage, basic
setting, rear
Turn adjusting screw as far
as it will go in the coun-
terclockwise direction, as
viewed from above, then turn
it 19 clicks in the clockwise
direction.
Adjusting rear
compression stage
Make sure ground is level and
firm and park the motorcycle.
Adjust the compression stage
by turning adjusting ring
1 .
If you want to increase the
compression stage, turn ad-
justing ring
1 in the H direction.
If you want to reduce the com-
pression stage, turn adjusting
ring
1 in the S direction.
Compression stage, basic
setting, rear
Turn the adjusting screw as
far as possible clockwise,
then 14 clicks counterclock-
wise.
Tires
Checking tire pressure
Make sure ground is level and
firm and park the motorcycle.
Incorrect tire inflation pres-
sure results in poorer hand-
ing characteristics of the motor-
cycle and reduces the life of the
tires.
Ensure proper tire inflation
pressure.
